PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing apparatus that can reduce a temperature in a treatment tank to a desired level in a cooling step after a sterilization step.SOLUTION: In a sterilizing apparatus 1, an object 2 to be treated in a treatment tank 3 is heated and then cooled. In a cooling step, water stored in the treatment tank 3 is circulated between the treatment tank 3 and a heat exchanger 8, and the circulating water is cooled in the heat exchanger 8 by cooling water from a cooling tower 28. A cooling water supply passage 30 from the cooling tower 28 to the heat exchanger 8 and a cooling water return passage 31 from the heat exchanger 8 to the cooling tower 28 are connected to each other by a bypass passage 34. A branch part of the cooling water supply passage 30 and the bypass passage 34 is provided with a three-way valve 35. The three-way valve 35 is controlled based on the temperature detected by a temperature sensor 13 installed in the treatment tank 3 to adjust the flow rate of the cooling water to the heat exchanger 8.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】殺菌工程後の冷却工程において、処理槽内の温度を所望に下げることができる殺菌装置を提供する。【解決手段】処理槽3内の被処理物2を加熱後に冷却する殺菌装置1である。冷却工程では、処理槽3内に貯留した水を熱交換器8との間で循環させると共に、その循環水を熱交換器8においてクーリングタワー28からの冷却水で冷却する。クーリングタワー28から熱交換器8への冷却水送り路30と、熱交換器8からクーリングタワー28への冷却水戻し路31とは、バイパス路34で接続される。冷却水送り路30とバイパス路34との分岐部に、三方弁35が設けられる。処理槽3に設けた温度センサ13の検出温度に基づき、三方弁35を制御して、熱交換器8への冷却水の通水流量を調整する。【選択図】図1
