PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massaging machine allowing a treated person to stretch the back side of the thigh region.SOLUTION: The chair type massaging machine includes: a seat part 1 on which the treated person is seated a backrest part 3 capable of making the reclining motion while supporting the upper half body of the treated person seated on the seat part 1 from behind a leg-rest part 2 disposed in front of the seat part 1 in such a way as rotatable in the vertical direction an actuator 40 for actuating the backrest part 3 to make the reclining motion a treating mechanism 7 disposed within the backrest part 3, capable of making the lifting motion and forward/backward motion for treating the upper half body of the treated person from behind and a control part 6 for controlling the motions of the actuator 40 and the treating mechanism 7.
