PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost method for producing cutting seedling which is capable of saving labor, and improving a rooting ratio.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing rooted cuttings including: a rooting process of mounting a bed for scions into which scions are inserted under a rainfall suppressing member including at least a water-resistant layer, suppressing at least a part of rainfall onto scions to secure aeration, and allowing scions to generate roots； and a raising process of raising the scions with generated roots to obtain seedlings.
