PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol for pest controlling mosquitoes capable of maintaining pest controlling effect to mosquitoes over 20 hours by conducting a spray treatment a fixed amount of an aerosol with quantitative spray function to an indoor space, and a pest control method of mosquitoes using the same.SOLUTION: There are provided an aerosol for pest controlling mosquitoes having an aerosol valve for quantitative spray consisting of (a) metofluthrin as a pest controlling component, (b) an aerosol stock liquid containing an organic solvent, and (c) a propellant, and having aerosol stock liquid/propellant ratio of 10 to 50/50 to 90 (volume ratio), in which 90% particle diameter of spray particles of the aerosol in a volume cumulative distribution of 10 to 80 μm, metofluthrin spray amount in one time spray treatment is 5.0 to 12 mg per 4.5 to 8 mats and mosquitoes can be controlled in a treatment space over 20 hours or more, and a pest controlling method of mosquitoes by a quantitative spray treatment of the aerosol for pest controlling mosquitoes indoor.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】定量噴霧機能を備えたエアゾールを用い、一定量を室内空間に噴霧処理することによって、蚊類に対して20時間以上にわたり防除効果が持続可能な蚊類防除用エアゾール、及びこれを用いた蚊類の防除方法の提供。【解決手段】(a)害虫防除成分としてメトフルトリン、及び(b)有機溶剤を含有するエアゾール原液と、(c)噴射剤とからなり、エアゾール原液/噴射剤比率が10~50/50~90(容量比)である定量噴霧用エアゾールバルブを備えた蚊類防除用エアゾールであって、当該エアゾールの噴霧粒子の体積積算分布での90%粒子径が10~80μmで、しかも1回の噴霧処理におけるメトフルトリン噴出量を4.5~8畳あたり5.0~12mgとなし、その処理空間を20時間以上にわたり蚊類を防除可能にせしめる蚊類防除用エアゾール。及び、この蚊類防除用エアゾールを屋内で一定量噴霧処理する蚊類の防除方法。【選択図】なし
