The present invention relates to a food product based on hazelnuts, its method of preparation and its use. According to the invention, the food product is characterised in that it consists in grinding hazelnuts which have been subjected to a heat treatment, preferably which have been roasted. The hazelnuts used are preferably fresh. Its preparation method is characterised by a shelling and trimming operation and a heat treatment. The product is used for preparing beverages.
