PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application machine having a cleaning mechanism for automatically changing the capacity to retain a fixed capacity of a feed groove and automatically removing foreign substances accumulated within the feed groove.SOLUTION: In the application machine for fitting granules of fertilizers or seeds, etc., into feed grooves 2 on the outer peripheral surface of a feed roller 1 and feeding out the granules, the feed grooves 2 are disposed at regular intervals on the peripheral surface in the direction of rotation of the feed roller 1, and are formed longer along the lateral direction of rolling parallel to a rolling axis 3 of the feed roller 1. The capacity of each feed groove 2 can be changed. A cleaning slider 4 whose cross-sectional shape is the same as that of the feed groove 2 is fitted into each feed groove 2 of the feed roller 1. When the cleaning slider 4 is slid in the direction of the feed groove 2, the length of the feed groove 2 is changed and the foreign substances accumulated within the groove are removed.
