PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sterilization device including an oblong sterilization tank, and lengthened in device lifetime by preventing a forcible force from applying onto legs supporting the sterilization tank when expansion/shrinkage of the sterilization tank caused by heating/cooling in the sterilization tank occur.SOLUTION: A heat sterilization device includes a cylindrical sterilization tank 1 arranged transversely which stores an object to be sterilized and heats the sterilization tank to sterilization-process the object to be sterilized. A front leg 4 and a back leg 5 supporting the sterilization tank are each divided into an upper part and a lower part, the upper part and the lower part of the legs are joined together by passing a joint bolt into holes piercing into an upper flange and a lower flange set on divided parts, and at least one hole in the joint bolt holes set in the upper flange and the lower flange of each of the front leg 4 and the back leg 5 is a long hole long in the transverse direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】横長の殺菌槽を持った加熱殺菌装置において、殺菌槽内での加熱／冷却による殺菌槽の膨張／収縮が発生した際に、殺菌槽を支える脚に無理な力が掛かることを防止し、装置の寿命を長くする。【解決手段】横置きにした円筒形の殺菌槽１内に被殺菌物を収容し、殺菌槽内を加熱することで被殺菌物を殺菌処理する加熱殺菌装置であって、殺菌槽を支える前脚４と後脚５は、それぞれ上部と下部に分割しており、分割部に設けた上部フランジと下部フランジを貫通する孔に結合用ボルトを通すことで脚の上部と下部を結合するようにしており、前脚４及び後脚５のそれぞれでの上部フランジ及び下部フランジに設ける結合ボルト用孔のうち、少なくとも一箇所の孔は横方向に長い長孔としている。【選択図】図１
