The device (100) for milling solid particles, particle conglomerates or fluid to semi-fluid substances and substance mixtures has a rotatable mounted rotor (120) and fixed stator (130), whereby the substances for milling during the milling process are guided through a milling chamber (123) between the rotor and stator. The rotor and stator are each constructed as a disc with opposed milling faces, whereby the substances for milling are movable in the radial direction of opposite lying rotor and stator discs. The discs of the rotor and stator may be made from a ceramic material, silicone carbide or aluminum oxide.
