PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, in a small electric vehicle, for favorably retaining mountability of a cord reel device on the vehicle, protecting a charge cord even when excessive tension is applied to the charge cord, and securing safety of the vehicle.SOLUTION: The small electric vehicle includes a case 17 swingably supported to a rotary shaft 24 connected to a vehicle body 5, where the case 17 is supported to the vehicle body by support springs 25 and 26 that, only in a case where excessive force is applied to a charge cord 20, are warped more than installation length to swing the case in a pull-out direction of the charge cord.
