PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably fix an absorbent body to clothes concerning an absorbent article.
SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 has the absorbent body 2 including: a liquid-permeable top sheet a liquid-non-permeable back sheet and an absorbent body arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. A cover sheet 8 for covering the front surface of the top sheet is arranged, whose peripheral edge area 8P of the cover sheet 8 is joined with the absorbent body 2. A plurality of flaps for fixing the absorbent body 2 to underwear are divided by division lines 9 in the center area 8C of the cover sheet. When the napkin is used, the flaps are respectively bent and developed in bending areas, so as to be respectively fixed to the underwear. The flaps include: a front flap 10F and a rear flap 10B to be developed in front and rear directions and a left flap 10L and a right flap 10R to be developed in left and right directions.
