PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable diaper which prevents a side flap part configuring both side edges of the diaper from being easily shifted when the diaper is worn and is capable of effectively preventing leakage from an opening around the waist and openings around legs.
SOLUTION: The tape type disposable diaper 1A comprises an absorbent body 22, a top sheet 18 disposed so as to cover the upper surface of the absorbent body 22, a back sheet 20 disposed so as to cover the lower surface of the absorbent body 22, and a fixing tape 11 disposed so as to be extended from the respective right and left side edges of the back body 6. The respective right and left side edge parts 2x and 2y of the body 2 and the respective right and left side edge parts 6x and 6y of the back body 6 configure the side flap parts 8 of the diaper, and the side flap part 8 of the front body 2 and the side flap part 8 of the back body 6 have rugged fitting parts 38 to be fitted with each other formed on the respective abutting surfaces to be overlapped with each other when the diaper is worn.
