The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition against methicillin resistant strains. More particularly, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and health-aid food for preventing or treating infection with methicillin resistant strains. The composition includes eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), citral, hinokitiol, linalool or &alpha；-terpineol having high antimicrobial activity, growth-inhibiting effect and sterilizing effect against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus Aureus strains.
