PURPOSE: A bad smell neutralizing apparatus for a hood is provided to effectively remove the bad smell from food, and to reduce costs as an adsorption filter, photocatalytic filter, and a water filter are removed from a hood structure. CONSTITUTION: A bad smell neutralizing apparatus for a hood comprises a branch pipe(3), an anion changer(A), and an anion delivery device(10). The branch pipe is connected to the exhaust duct of the hood, and the upper ejection part of the branch pipe is placed in an exhaust duct. The anion changer comprises a neutralizing agent container(6), a high temperature heater(8), and a high-voltage generator(7). The neutralizing agent container is charged with a neutralizing agent for generating anion. The high temperature heater heats and evaporates the neutralizing agent. The high-voltage generator supplies high voltage to the high temperature heater. The anion delivery device delivers the anion to the branch pipe. The anion supplied through the exhaust duct is mixed with the smell molecule of positive charge, and neutralizes the bad smell.본 발명은 악취제거효과가 지속적이고, 악취제거 기능을 발휘하는 요소의 교체가 불필요해 관리하기도 편한 후드용 악취중화장치를 제공하려는 것으로서, 고온 히터에 고전압을 인가하여 중화제를 증발시킬 때 발생하는 음전하(음이온)로 양전하(양이온)를 띤 음식물의 냄새분자를 중화시키는 악취중화장치를 통상의 후드 배기 덕트 상에 설치하여 배기 덕트로 배출되는 동안 음식물의 악취가 완전 중화 제거되도록 한 후드용 악취중화장치를 특징으로 한 것이다.
