The present invention discloses a compound separated from Monascus-fermented rice, the preparation method and uses thereof. Specifically, the present invention discloses a compound represented by the Formula I, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein, R₁ is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl, C₁₋₆ straight or branched alkoxyl, (II), (III) and (IV)； R₂ is hydrogen or C₁₋₆ alkyl； R₃ is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl and C₁₋₆ straight or branched alkoxyl. The present invention further discloses a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound. The compound of the present invention has HMG-CoA reductase inhibition effects.
