PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chlorella for bait with an enough usable period and a method for producing chlorella for bait.SOLUTION: After addition of a pH adjuster, a solid-liquid separation operation is performed to further remove residual water remaining among chlorella cells without influencing the chlorella cells themselves, thereby obtaining pellets of chlorella, namely chlorella for bait (step S7). The condition for solid-liquid separation, namely the condition for centrifugation or for vacuum dehydration, is set so that the dry mass/wet mass value of a pellet falls within the range of nearly 180 g/kg to 250 g/kg, and preferably nearly 220 g/kg to 250 g/kg.【課題】 使用可能期間が十分に長い餌料用クロレラ及び餌料用クロレラを製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】 ｐＨ調整剤の添加操作が終了すると、クロレラの細胞自体に影響を及ぼすことなく、クロレラの各細胞間に残存する残留水を更に分離除去する固液分離操作を実施して残留水分を調整することによって、クロレラの塊であるペレット、すなわち餌料用クロレラを得る（ステップＳ７）。固液分離の条件、すなわち遠心分離の条件又は真空脱水の条件は、ペレットの乾質量／湿質量の値が略１８０ｇ／ｋｇ以上２５０ｇ／ｋｇ以下、好ましくは略２２０ｇ／ｋｇ以上２５０ｇ／ｋｇ以下になるように設定する。【選択図】 図１
