PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method and a cooling device capable of cooling a sterilization object uniformly in a cooling process of a steam type sterilizer, shortening a cooling time as much as possible, and reducing a used amount of cooling water.SOLUTION: In a lateral type cylindrical sterilization tank, a fan for circulating gas, a partition plate, and a spray nozzle for spraying cooling water are provided, and a sterilization object on a tray can be cooled uniformly in excellent heat efficiency by a small amount of cooling water, by effect of gas-liquid mixture of circulating gas and sprayed cooling water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 蒸気式殺菌装置の冷却工程で、被殺菌物を均一に冷却させるとともに、出来るだけ冷却時間を短縮し、かつ冷却水の使用量を少なく出来る冷却方法と冷却装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 横型円筒状の殺菌槽内に気体を循環させるファン及び仕切板と、冷却水を噴霧するスプレーノズルを設け、循環気体と噴霧冷却水の気液混合した作用により、トレイ上の被殺菌物を少量の冷却水で熱効率良く、均一に冷却できるようにした。【選択図】図1
