PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus allowing an operator to freely set an image display part for displaying the image of the inside of a subjects body at such a height position as can be easily operated by the operator without requiring force with the same work even if the image display part is replaced.SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, a pedestal is set on a working rod, which is supported to a casing slidably in the vertical direction. The pedestal is slidable in the vertical direction, and configured to bias and support the working rod so as to be balanced with the biasing force of a coil spring with the image display part mounted on the pedestal.
