PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelling apparatus suitable for high-speed operation while maintaining high shelling performance.
SOLUTION: An upper rotator 3a and a lower rotator 3b are vertically arranged in parallel at an interval for insertion of green soybean stock and rotated in mutually reverse directions. Four elastic blades of an upper and a lower elastic blades 30a and 30b alternately equipped with projected parts 31a and 31b and recessed parts 32a and 32b in the axial direction are fixed in the peripheral direction of each rotator at intervals on a pair of the upper and lower rotators 3a and 3b. The rotators 3a and 3b are rotated and synchronized so that at the shelling position, the projected part 31a of the upper elastic blade 30a and the projected part 31b of the lower elastic blade 30b are superimposed at an fixed interval L in the peripheral directions of the rotators 3a and 3b. The fixed interval L is an interval in which the upper elastic blade 30a is brought into contact with the lower elastic blade 30b and supported when the projected part 31a of the upper elastic blade 30a is elastically deformed by reaction force of pod in shelling.
