PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion of an optical element.SOLUTION: An imaging device 5 for endoscopes includes: an optical element 53 including a metal layer 531 that can be blazed to an outer peripheral surface; a first frame body 52 having a metal part 523 that can be brazed to at least an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface, where the outer peripheral surface of the optical element 53 is brazed to the inner peripheral surface; and a second frame body having a metal part that can be brazed at least to an inner peripheral surface, where the outer peripheral surface of the first frame body 52 is brazed to the inner peripheral surface.
