PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer fixing thread which can easily and reliably perform the operation for fixing a spacer to a bone and does not adversely affect a living body, and to provide the spacer with the spacer fixing thread which can facilitate the operation for secure a gap between bones.SOLUTION: The spacer fixing thread is used for fixing the spacer to the bones while the spacer is being inserted into the gap between the bones. The spacer fixing thread comprises a braided thread and a hard bar-like core material disposed in at least one end of the braided thread along in a longitudinal direction.
