The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting rice cakes which is invented to solve problems of an existing apparatus for cutting rice cakes. The apparatus for cutting rice cakes of the present invention includes: a transfer conveyor which is installed on a frame and transfers rice cakes an assistant table which is installed in front of the frame, is folded in the direction of a front plate, and is folded to be horizontally at the same level of the transfer conveyor a lengthwise direction cutting device which is installed above the left side of the transfer conveyor of the frame and cuts the rice cakes in a lengthwise direction a width direction cutting device which is installed above the right side of the transfer conveyor of the frame and cuts the rice cakes, previously cut in the lengthwise direction, in the direction of the width and a driving unit which generates power needed to transfer and cut the rice cakes by operating the transfer conveyor, the lengthwise direction cutting device, and the width direction cutting device.
