The object of this invention is to provide a powder or solid composition containing acylated sterol glycoside from rice bran. The method for producing the composition comprises using rice lecithin generated from rice bran as the raw material, treating the raw material by a supercritical extracting operation using carbon dioxide and ethanol, and removing ethanol from the obtained extracted residue.
