6-O-substituovaný ketolidový derivát erythromycinu mající vzorec V, nebo její farmaceuticky prijatelná sul, ve které R.sup.b .n.je vybráno ze skupiny sestávající z hydroxy skupiny, -O-C(O)-NH.sub.2 .n.a -O-C(O)-imidazolyl R.sup.p .n.je vodík nebo benzoyl skupina R je vybráno ze skupiny sestávající z (1) methylu substituovaného CN, (2) C.sub.2.n.-C.sub.3.n.-alkylu substituovaného jedním nebo více substituenty, C.sub.3.n.-alkenylu nesubstituovaného nebo substituovaného. Slouceninu lze použít pro prípravu lécebného prostredku pro kontrolu bakteriální infekce u savcu. Je popsána i farmaceutická kompozice s obsahem uvedené slouceniny.In the present invention, there is disclosed a 6-O-substituted erythromycin ketolide derivative of the general formula V, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in which Reb is selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, -O-C(O)-NHi2 and -O-C(O)-imidazolyl Rep denotes a hydrogen atom or a benzoyl group R is selected from the group consisting of (1) a methyl group substituted with CN, (2) an alkyl group containing 2 to 3 carbon atoms and substituted with one or more substituents, an alkenyl group having 3 carbon atoms either unsubstituted or substituted. The compound of the present invention can be used for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition intended for the control of bacterial infection in mammals. In the present invention, there is also described a pharmaceutical composition containing the above-indicated compound.
