PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the preparation of a cosmetic composition having the texture of a cream.SOLUTION: The method for preparation of a cosmetic composition having the texture of a cream is provided which is carried out by a user at the time when the composition is used and which includes a step of bringing into contact with each other (A) a liquid phase, (B) a powder containing a gelling agent for the liquid phase (A), and (C) an active cosmetic ingredient, and in the step, the elements are brought into contact with each other by adding the phase (A) to the phase (B), subjecting a solid powder containing the phase (B) and the phase (A) in an immobilized form to mechanical stress to release the phase (A).
