PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform spiral cord traction of a user of a big body and that of a small body by using a same single exercise assisting instrument.SOLUTION: An exercise assisting instrument 10 is formed from an elastic material. The exercise assisting instrument 10 has a semi-cylindrical shape being enclosed with two semi-circular end faces 11L, 11R facing each other with an interval in lateral direction, a bottom surface 13 and a bent surface 12 interposed between the two semi-circular end faces 11L, 11R.
