A spinning reel 100 for fishing includes a body 10 that rotatably supports a handle shaft 5 via a bearing 6b, a spool reciprocating device 50 having an interlocking gear 54 and housed in the body 10. A metal support member 40 fixed to the body 10 by caulking to support the interlocking gear 54 is provided, and a bearing hole 24 for accommodating the bearing 6b and a support member 40 are inserted into the side wall portion 22 of the body 10. A through hole 25 and a restraining portion 28 that deforms the bearing hole 24 are formed.
