PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure desired flatness and parallelism on a support surface of a reel body for supporting a drive member while ensuring strength without performing machining for removing a shape defect due to a pull-out taper of the reel body. We provide spinning reels for fishing. SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing is provided with a spool reciprocating mechanism for reciprocating a spool around which a fishing thread is wound. A correction member 90 for correcting the parallelism and / or flatness of the support surface 10a (92) for the interlocking gear 74 is provided on the support portion 80 of the body 10 that supports the interlocking gear 74 constituting the spool reciprocating mechanism.
