PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel which is simplified and comprises a support member with improved support intensity and accuracy.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel 100 of the invention comprises: a reel body 1 with a body 10； a spool reciprocation device 50 which has a linkage gear 54 and stored in the body 10； and a support member 60 which is fixed to the body 10 and supports the linkage gear 54, and is formed into a substantially columnar shape. In the spinning reel 100, a side wall part 21 of the body 10 has an open hole 25, and the support member 50 comprises: a fixing part 62 fixed to inside of the open hole 25； a pivotally support part 63 protruding to the body 10 from the fixing part 62 for pivotally supporting the linkage gear 54； and a flange part 64 arranged on a boundary between the fixing part 62 and the pivotally support part 63 for contacting an inner face of the side wall part 21.
