PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device capable of performing a highly precise ridge adjustment.SOLUTION: A crop position sensor device 20 for a root vegetable harvester comprises: a pair of contact pieces 21 a vertical fluctuating part 22 a stationary frame 23 having extension parts 23A and 23B fixed to the vertical fluctuation part 22 and extending to the right and left a parallel link mechanism 24 having link members born on vertical shafts 24A and 24B disposed on the right and left ends of the extension parts 23A and 23B and made movable along a horizontal plane a pair of sensors 25 (25A and 25B) for detecting the transverse motions of the parallel link mechanism 24 and a neutral position holding mechanism 26 for elastically holding the parallel link mechanism 24 in a neutral position.
