PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crops digged out of an i-th ridge, from being pushed into an (i/(i+1))th furrow by a driving wheel of a traveling machine body by driving the traveling machine body toward the west side edge from the east side edge.SOLUTION: This digger for crops grown in soil includes crop fall preventing plates 31 of strip shape mounted onto the respective inside surfaces of rear parts of digging mechanism mounting plates 12 turnably between first and second turning positions. Each crop fall preventing plate 31 has an end face extending curved onto the digging mechanism mounting plate 12 side toward a lower part from an upper part turnably mounted to the rear part of the digging mechanism mounting plate 12 viewed from a state of the crop fall preventing plate 31 being turnably mounted to the rear end of the digging mechanism mounting plate 12, and extending in a longitudinal direction in a state of closely facing the upper face of a ridge when digging crops in a first turning position state but extending in a separated state from the upper face of the ridge in a second turning position state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】走行機体を東側端から西側端に向って駆動させて、第iの畝内から掘上げられた農作物が走行機体の駆動輪によって、第(i・(i+1))の畝合いに押込まれないようにする。【解決手段】土中生育農作物掘上機において、掘上機構装架用板12の後部のそれぞれの内側面上に、短冊状の農作物落下防止用板31が第1及び第2の回動位置間において回動自在に取付けられ、農作物落下防止用板31が掘上機構装架用板12の後部に回動自在に取付けられている状態でみて、掘上機構装架用板12の後部に回動自在に取付けている上部から下部に向かうに従い、掘上機構装架用板12側にそれぞれ湾曲延長しているとともに、第1の回動位置の状態で、農作物堀上時における畝の上面に近接対向している状態に前後方向に延長しているが、第2の回動位置の状態で、畝の上面から離間している状態に延長している端面を有する。【選択図】図1
