PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic which is excellent in the sustainability of a pleasant cooling sensation and in fragrance.
SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic comprises a microencapsulated algefacient in which an oil phase comprising (A) a l-menthol and (B) a liquid oil is held in an outer-shell base which contains a water-soluble polymer compound as a major ingredient. In the microencapsulated algefacient, a content ratio of (A) the l-menthol and (B) the liquid oil is (A)/(B)=40/60 to 60/40 in weight ratio, and (B) the liquid oil contains 50 mass% or more of at least one of a peppermint oil and a eucalyptus oil.
