The invention relates to an element for protecting the planting material, meant to equip the apparatuses for wrapping young plants, playing the role of preventing the stems of planting material from being deteriorated by scratching while wrapping the roots with a nutritive substance. According to the invention, the element for protecting the planting material comprises a body () made of an ovoid-shaped metal platband with a width (), with radii (), which is welded on the fixed wall of the machine () for wrapping young plants, and the circular-shaped body () with a radius (), which is welded on the mobile arm of a machine () for wrapping young plants, each of the two bodies having a strip (), of porous material fixed by riveting.Invenţia se referă la un element de protecţie a materialului săditor, destinat echipării aparatelor de ambalat puieţi, având rolul de a elimina deteriorarea tulpinilor materialului săditor, prin scrijelire în timpul procesului de ambalare a rădăcinilor cu substanţă nutritivă.
