PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the preparation of a cosmetic composition having the texture of a cream.SOLUTION: The preparation is produced at the time of using a composition and comprises contacting with each other the following components: (A) a liquid phase； (B) a powder containing a gelling agent for the liquid phase (A)； and (C) an active cosmetic ingredient, thereby bringing into contact with components by adding the phase (A) into the phase (B), subjecting solid powders which contain the phase (B) and the immobilized phase (A) to mechanical stress, and releasing the phase (A) by the mechanical stress.
