The device (100) has a peg portion (106) attaching a dog retaining strap to a dog by inserting the retaining strap through a handle piece and driving on a ground i.e. golf course, using the handle piece, where the device is formed as a welded steel structure. A transverse bar (112) is mounted on the peg portion and actuatable by a user for driving the peg portion into the ground. The peg portion comprises a rectilinear longitudinal rod crossing perpendicular to the transverse bar. A ground side end portion of the peg portion exhibits a spiral field for driving into the ground. An independent claim is also included for a golf-bag for transportation of a golf equipment with a retainer for receiving the golf equipment.
