PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the close corresponding relation between an ultrasonic image and sound data.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic image such as a B mode image, a Doppler image or the like is formed on the basis of a plurality of the image data formed in an image forming part 18. A sound data processing part 22 forms the sound data on the basis of the signal obtained through a microphone 32 and allows the concerned position in the ultrasonic image and the sound data related thereto to correspond to each other to store the sound data in a data memory part 24.
