PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical tomographic image acquiring apparatus capable of obtaining a good image even in a case that rotating variation is produced in an optical measuring part such as a lens or the like in an optical scanning probe, and an optical tomographic image acquiring method.
SOLUTION: The optical tomographic image acquiring apparatus includes the optical scanning probe containing the optical measuring part for irradiating a measuring target with measuring light and equipped with a cylindrical sheath 26 having marking parts 26a arranged at the positions dividing the circumference of the sheath 26 into a plurality of parts in a part through which the measuring light and reflected light are transmitted, a tomographic image forming means for forming a tomographic image on the basis of the reflected light obtained in the optical scanning probe, a marking position detecting means for detecting the positions of the marking parts on the basis of the tomographic image formed by the tomographic image forming means and a correction means for correcting the tomographic image on the basis of the positions of the marking parts detected by the marking position detecting means.
