The present invention relates to an apparatus for preparing instant cooked rice, in which a steaming module, a cooking module, and a sealing module are integrated into a single chamber to which high-temperature, high-pressure steam is supplied. The steaming module performs a steaming process in which high-temperature, high-pressure steam fills the steam module to sterilize and primarily cook the contents in an open container arranged in an upper portion of the steaming module. The cooking module performs a cooking process in which high-temperature, high-pressure steam fills the cooking module to further sterilize the contents in the open container and supply moisture to the contents and completely cook the contents. The sealing module performs a sealing process in which clean nitrogen gases are supplied to the completely cooked contents, and the top of the open container is sealed with a lid film.
