PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning endoscope system capable of accelerating the recovery the transmissivity of a light receiving fiber without uselessly increasing the diameter of the insertion part.SOLUTION: A scanning endoscope system comprises: a scanning endoscope which has, at the tip of an insertion part, an end part of the light emission side of a light guiding fiber, an actuator part for swinging the end part of the light emission side, and an end part of the light incidence side of a light receiving fiber into the light incidence surface of which external light is entered; a reflection member capable of reflecting emission light emitted from a tip surface of the tip; and a contact member capable arranging the tip surface contactingly on a surface the contact member. The scanning endoscope system also includes: a light reflector configured such that at least part of the emission light is reflected off the reflection member and enters the light incidence surface while the tip surface is arranged contactingly on the surface of the contact member; and a control part which swings the end part of the light emission side such that a circular orbit is drawn with the longitudinal axis of the insertion part as the center while the tip surface is arranged contactingly on the surface of the contact member.【課題】挿入部を無用に太径化することなく、受光用ファイバの透過率の回復を促進することが可能な走査型内視鏡システムを提供する。【解決手段】走査型内視鏡システムは、導光用ファイバの光出射側の端部と、光出射側の端部を揺動させるアクチュエータ部と、外部からの光が光入射面に入射される受光用ファイバの光入射側の端部と、を挿入部の先端部に具備する走査型内視鏡と、先端部の先端面から出射される出射光を反射可能な反射部材と、先端面を表面に当接配置することが可能な当接部材と、を具備するとともに、先端面が当接部材の表面に当接配置されている際に、出射光の少なくとも一部が反射部材において反射して光入射面に入射するように構成された光反射器と、先端面が当接部材の表面に当接配置されている際に、挿入部の長手軸を中心とした円軌道を描くように光出射側の端部を揺動させる制御部と、を有する。【選択図】図1
