PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic imaging device in which a light source composed of a plurality of LED chips can be arranged close to an ultrasonic probe, and light having sufficient energy can be irradiated to a measurement area of a subject from the light source.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic imaging device includes an ultrasonic probe 2 equipped with a probe body 10, and light source units 22A and 22B for irradiating light to a subject. The light source unit includes an LED chip array 25 in which a plurality of LED chips 25a are arranged, and a light guide member 26 for irradiating light to the subject A.
