PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment apparatus constituted so as to achieve the reduction of a fuel cost, the effective utilization of dry sludge and the enhancement of percentage loss of weight, inexpensive in equipment cost and especially suitable for small-medium scaled equipment. SOLUTION: In the sludge treatment apparatus equipped with a hot air dryer for drying a dehydrated cake using hot air, a hot air oven for using the dry sludge dried by the hot air dryer as fuel is provided and the hot air produced in the hot air oven is supplied to the hot air dryer to be used as dehydrated cake drying hot air. A ventilation band dryer is used in the hot air dryer and the hot air produced in the hot air oven is supplied to the upstream side of the ventilation band dryer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
