PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing high-quality white radish sprout free from nitrite compounds and causing little growth of the sprout during the storage in a cold place, and provide the high-quality white radish sprout produced by the method. SOLUTION: White radish sprout is cultured by hydroponic culture using an aqueous solution of sodium chloride having a concentration of preferably 0.01-5 wt.% and preferably composed of one or more substances selected from seawater, deep seawater, their dried products and purified products. The present invention further provides a white radish sprout produced by this method.
