Disclosed is an apparatus for processing dead livestock. According to the present invention, the apparatus for processing dead livestock comprises: a selection grinding unit including a first grinding unit to grind dead poultry supplied through a first hopper, and a second grinding unit to grind dead artiodactyla supplied through a second hopper； a storage hopper communicating with the selection grinding unit to store ground dead bodies and liquid discharged in a grinding process； a separation transport unit communicating with a lower end of the storage hopper to move the stored dead bodies to an upper end and discharge the liquid to a lower end； and a drying unit communicating with an upper end of the separation transport unit to heat and dry the received dead bodies, and discharge the dried dead bodies to a collection box on a lower end. According to the present invention, dead livestock can be efficiently and uniformly ground or cut into a small size in accordance with the type of dead livestock. Dead bodies can be quickly dried by the drying unit to improve drying efficiency and allow economic operation of the apparatus. The apparatus is realized in a single module form where components with respective functions are linked to allow movement using a vehicle, to cleanly, effectively and quickly process a large quantity of dead livestock without pollution of the surrounding environment.폐가축 처리장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 폐가축 처리장치는, 제1 호퍼를 통해 투입된 폐사 가금류를 파쇄하는 제1 파쇄부 및 제2 호퍼를 통해 투입된 폐사 우제류를 파쇄하는 제2 파쇄부로 구성되는 선별파쇄부； 상기 선별파쇄부와 연통되어 파쇄된 폐사체와 파쇄과정에서 토출된 액상물을 저장하는 저장호퍼； 상기 저장호퍼의 하단부와 연통되어 저장된 폐사체는 상단부로 이동시키고, 액상물은 하단부로 배출시키는 분리이송부； 및 상기 분리이송부의 상단부와 연통되어 제공받은 폐사체를 가열 및 건조하되, 건조된 폐사체는 하단부의 수거함으로 토출시키는 건조부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 폐사 가축의 종류에 따라 작은 크기로 효율적이고 균일하게 파쇄 내지 절단할 수 있고, 건조부를 통한 폐사체에 대한 신속한 건조처리가 이루어질 수 있으며, 이를 통해 건조효율 및 장치의 경제적인 운용이 가능해짐은 물론, 각각의 기능을 갖는 구성들이 상호 연계작동하는 하나의 모듈형태로 구현됨에 따라 차량을 이용한 이동이 가능하고, 대량의 폐가축 처리가 주변환경의 오염 없이 깔끔하고 효과적이며 신속하게 이루어질 수 있는 효과가 있다.
