PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving skin adhesion maintenance in a skin external preparation containing a powder of oil-in-water type emulsion dosage form.SOLUTION: The skin external preparation comprises (1) 0.05-5 mass% of an acyl lactic acid and/or its salt, (2) 0.1-10 mass% of an acylated polyglycerin, (3) 0.01-1 mass% of a sulfate-based anionic surfactant and (4) a powder. The powder is a powder having a hydroxyapatite-containing coating layer on the surface. The acyl lactic acid is preferably stearoyl lactic acid.
