PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid for allowing a user to safely walk in a relaxed posture by freely adjusting the positions of handles.SOLUTION: The walking aid includes: a vehicle base 1 and the handles 2 attached to the upper part of the vehicle base 1, mechanisms for allowing the handles 2 to vertically swing by changing the inclination angles of the handles 2 with respect to the vehicle base 1, and mechanisms for allowing the handles 2 to horizontally swing with respect to the vehicle base 1. Angle adjustment boards 30 constituting the vertical swing mechanisms of the handles 2 include fitting recessed grooves 33 and arranged in the lower parts of the handles 2. The fitting recessed grooves 33 are arranged in a circular arcuate shape on the board surfaces of the angular adjustment boards 30. Connection rods 31 are configured each to allow one end to be rockably pivotally fitted to the angular adjustment boards 30.
