PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive suitable for disposable product applications, which can be applied at high speed, excellent in adhesiveness in wet conditions and low temperature coating, with low odor.SOLUTION: A hot melt adhesive includes (A) a propylene homopolymer with &le；100°C melting point obtained by polymerizing propylene using a metallocene catalyst, and (B) wax modified by a carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic anhydride. The adhesive is suitable for high speed coating, and excellent in wet adhesiveness and in low temperature coating. The wax (B) modified by the carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic anhydride is further improved in wet adhesiveness when the wax is polyolefin wax modified by maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride.【課題】高速塗工が可能で、湿潤状態での接着性および低温塗工に優れ、臭気が少ない使い捨て製品用途に適したホットメルト接着剤を提供する。【解決手段】（Ａ）メタロセン触媒を用いてプロピレンを重合して得られた融点１００℃以下のプロピレンホモポリマーと、（Ｂ）カルボン酸及び／又はカルボン酸無水物で変性されたワックスを含有するホットメルト接着剤は、高速塗工に適し、湿潤接着性及び低温塗工にも優れる。（Ｂ）カルボン酸及び／又はカルボン酸無水物で変性されたワックスは、マレイン酸及び／又は無水マレイン酸で変性されたポリオレフィンワックスである場合、さらに、湿潤接着性がより改良される。【選択図】なし
