PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an egg shell breaker for making broken pieces of a shell be hardly mixed into an edible portion.SOLUTION: An egg shell breaker 1 includes: a body part 21； a grip 22； a lid part 23； a handle 24； and a shell cracking part 50. The shell cracking part 50 includes a plate spring 61 and a hammer 62 connected to the plate spring 61. The plate spring 61 moves in a groove part 51. An inner wall 52 is formed with a plurality of teeth 54 at a fixed pitch. The plate spring 61 is compressed when being in projections of the teeth 54, and is released from compression when being in a different position from the projection. When turning the handle 24, the hammer 62 moves in conjunction with the plate spring 61, and gives shocks to a shell of an egg E when the plate spring 61 is released from compression.
