PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform the alignment for measurement of a cornea thickness without depending on a corneal curvature radius.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic apparatus includes a measurement section that measures a subjects eye, a bright spot image acquisition means that acquires a bright spot image based on a return light from the anterior segment of the subjects eye irradiated with a far-red light, and a slit image acquisition means that acquires a slit image of a cornea based on the return light from the subjects eye irradiated with a slit light.
