PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an execution method of weed-prevention, a method that can prevent weed from growing around planting as well as securing supply of moisture by rain water which is necessary for growth of planting, that makes sound growth of planting and natural landscape as a green space compatible, and that gives suitable mobility to grains in the installation work during the execution and prevents the grains from moving after the execution.SOLUTION: With sand 2 that passes through a 5 mm mesh as a target, asphalt 3 is mixed until the grains of the sand 2 are all covered with the asphalt 3 with a total weight rate of 3 wt% thus, a water-repellent weed-preventing material 1 is used in which a mutually nonadhesive asphalt layer is formed around the grains of the sand 2. Then, a water-permeable sheet 4 is laid on the soil 5, with the weed-preventing material 1 laid on the sheet 4 in the thickness of the layer in which no seeds 7 of weeds germinate.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】植栽周囲の土壌に雑草が生えるのを防止可能とすると共に、植栽の生育にとって必要な雨水による水分の供給を確保し、植栽の健全な生育と緑地としての自然景観とを両立させ、施工時の敷設作業では粒子が適度な移動性を有し且つ施工後には粒子の移動が防止できる防草施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】ふるい目5mmを通過する砂2を対象とし、総重量割合3wt%でアスファルト3が前記砂2の粒子をすべて被覆するまで混合し、前記砂2の粒子の周囲に相互に粘着し合うことのないアスファルトの層を形成した撥水性を有する防草材1を用いる。そして、土壌5の上に透水性を有するシート4を敷設し、該シート4の上に、前記防草材1を雑草の種子7が発芽しない層の厚さに敷設する。【選択図】 図2
