PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating Lithospermum erythrorhizon, which is suitable for mass production of the Lithospermum erythrorhizon, has a high percentage of sprouting from seeds of, an increased survival rate of, and smooth growth of the Lithospermum erythrorhizon.SOLUTION: The method for cultivating the Lithospermum erythrorhizon includes putting sand into a bottomed cylindrical raising seedling container, sowing by sowing several Lithospermum erythrorhizon seeds on the sand followed by further scattering sand on the seeds until the seeds disappear from view, exposing the product at low temperature of 0 to -10°C for 7-30 days after sowing, sprinkling water when the surface of the sand dries, gradually increasing temperature to sprout followed by taking out from the raising seedling container when a height after sprouting reaches 7-15 cm, separating sand adhering to roots followed by transplanting to an agricultural land, continuously sprinkling water when the surface of the sand dries until taking out from the raising seedling container, and growing the product in the agricultural land after transplanting followed by blooming and gathering seeds.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 種子から高率で発芽させ、生存率が高く、かつ順調に生育させることができる大量生産に適したムラサキの栽培方法の提供。【解決手段】 その栽培方法は、有底筒状の育苗容器に砂を入れ、その砂の上にムラサキの種子を数粒撒き、その後前記種子が見えなくなるまで、更にその種子上に砂を撒いて播種し、播種後0~-10℃の低温に7~30日間曝すと共に砂の表面が乾いたら散水し、その後は徐々に温度上昇させて発芽させ、発芽後背丈が7~15cmになった時点で、育苗容器から取り出して根に付いた砂を分離して農地に移植し、その育苗容器から取り出すまでの間は引き続き砂の表面が乾いたら散水し、移植後は農地にて育成し開花させて種子を採取することを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 なし
