PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed control construction method in which a weed growth in the soil of the planting periphery can be prevented, the supply of water by rain water necessary for growth of the planting is secured, a sound growth of the planting is balanced with a natural landscape as a green space, particles have moderate mobility in the laying operation in the construction, and the movement of the particles after the construction can be prevented.SOLUTION: A weed control material 1 is used in which crushed stones 2 of the No.6 grain size are targeted and mixed until all the particles of the crushed stones 2 are covered by asphalt 3 at a gross weight ratio of 2 wt%, and asphalt layers without coming close each other are formed around the particles of the crushed stones 2 and water repellency is provided. Then, a sheet 4 having permeability is laid on the soil 5, and the weed control material 1 is laid in a layer thickness H of not allowing germination of weed seeds 7 on the sheet 4.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】植栽周囲の土壌に雑草が生えるのを防止可能とすると共に、植栽の生育にとって必要な雨水による水分の供給を確保し、植栽の健全な生育と緑地としての自然景観とを両立させ、施工時の敷設作業では粒子が適度な移動性を有し且つ施工後には粒子の移動が防止できる防草施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】6号の粒度の砕石2を対象とし、総重量割合2wt%でアスファルト3が前記砕石2の粒子をすべて被覆するまで混合し、前記砕石2の粒子の周囲に相互にくっ付き合うことのないアスファルトの層を形成した撥水性を有する防草材1を用いる。そして、土壌5の上に透水性を有するシート4を敷設し、該シート4の上に、前記防草材1を雑草の種子7が発芽しない層厚Hに敷設する。【選択図】 図2
